WHAT IS K-KIDS KIWANIS?

Kiwanis is an international organization that was founded to support and serve kids.

In K-Kids Clubs worldwide, more than 36,000 children are provided with opportunities to build character and develop leadership through service. They're taking on the responsibility of running a K-Kids club as they plan and participate in community service projects. They assist the elderly with chores or organize community food drives. They serve their schools, raising funds for sports equipment and extracurricular activities.

The Mansfield City Schools District is the only local school district that currently has a K-Kid program.

My name is Tim Grassel and I am a School Counselor at Malabar Intermediate School.  I have been working in Mansfield City Schools for 25 years, and am a product of the system.  K-Kids has been a passion of mine for 10 years.  Working with students who are responsible and have leadership potential is what gets me through difficult days.  I am so proud of what K-Kids has accomplished in the last decade and am looking forward to seeing what they can do in the future.
